As our neighbors will attest, this summer has been one for the books! It has been VERY hot and VERY dry. You can see the effect of little water and a lot of heat on our apple tree. Although the apple looks good, the leaf tells the real story. It is probably too late for the corn (planted by the farmer leasing our land) but we are hoping for a bit of rain to fall soon so that the trees will benefit from a good long drink of water.
