Looks like the weather is going to cooperate with a healthy corn crop this year. Corn is already up to about six feet in height and it is just the 15th of June. Much better than last year when the corn did so poorly that the fields of dried out corn stalks were plowed under around the 1 July.
Today's chores include taking the riding lawnmower over to my mechanic to get it repaired, picking up a free rooster that "has an attitude"and dropping off payment for 50 lbs of hamburger (our portion in the butchering of our neighbor's bull).
