Guests from England

We have had a number of cross-stiches hanging on our wall wherever we've lived during our 35 years of marriage. One of them reads, "To a friend's house, the road is short."

This is so true when it comes to our friends Tom and Lisa. They live in England; just down the street from where we used to live and they have managed to visit us here are the farm twice. And we have only been here nine months! Now that is what I call making the road short!

Not bad for a self potrait!

At the time this picture was taken, we were standing next to our corn field. Wow! Is that corn growing fast. We have had a relatively mild spring with a good amount of rain. That seems to be just what the corn needs to grow tall and straight.
